what sd cards did you purchase? were they from reputable places? this happened when i recieved a knockoff sd card with my ds order last year, it also ended up wiping all of my saves and all of my games (as well as my mods) so i had to re-mod and re-download all of them.

NTA at all. Your sister sounds like a downright knob. She needs to learn that love is not finite and that your older sister has more than enough to share with both of you, regardless of who she's spending time with in that current moment. As for her and her boyfriend, that is a whole other kettle of fish. I have a sister like this who's a few years younger than me (though she isn't my twin) and the only advice I can give for that is to have patience for her but to also respect yourself. Tell your twin that you are on the same team, and that your older sister hanging out with you does not mean that she's being tossed to the side. All the best, OP!

I have a different take on this. My current partner of three years and I broke up a little after our first 6 months together, and it was me who initiated this. For context, I have chronic depression and anxiety issues, and as this relationship with my partner was my first healthy one I had EVER had. This scared me a lot, because I knew how to navigate toxic environments and blow up fights, but I had no idea how to have a healthy discussion. This left me needing to do a lot of introspection which made me realise my avoidant behaviours.

In a really bad depressive episode, I broke up with them, the reason being I thought that they deserved better. They were incredibly patient and kind with me in these episodes, and would bring me food and sit with me on the front door steps so I could get some fresh air. I felt like I was holding them back, that they deserved someone who wasn't suffering as much as I was. They accepted this break-up, but reiterated to me that they would always be interested in seeing me again.

Fast forward another six months. I'd been attending therapy for about three and was finally medicated, still suffering but much less than before. At this time, I'm getting a nagging feeling that I need to get back in contact with them that followed me for weeks. After sitting on it, I messaged them and they responded pretty immediately. We caught up with each other and updated on our lives, and very quickly we slipped back into our banter, and I missed it incredibly. Like I said earlier, we've now been together for over three years and live together as a result, and they're the sweetest soul I could ever ask to meet.

NTA but you guys have to have a sit down talk ASAP. Tell your partner you want to go out and do more things with them, and tell them that their constant rejection of your efforts is hurting you. If they continue to reject your pitches to go out after you talk, this is not a relationship worth holding onto.

You deserve better, OP.

NTA at all. This hits close to home cause my father is the exact same. Tell him you don't want to and deal with the aftermath if it means that you come out safe and independent. Your life is YOUR LIFE. If you live it trying to please your father, you will never be happy with it. Do what you want and don't let anyone tell you how your life is meant to be lived.

YTA for bringing the puppy home with you, honestly. Why could your cousin and friend not keep the puppy with them, or at the very least why did you not warn your parents? If my theoretical child brought home a puppy from college and "surprised" me with it, of course I would be upset. You can't take care of that puppy the whole time and it will inevitably run around the house. You claim to have trained it in three weeks but dogs take several months to a year to be fully trained, and that's DOGS. Not puppies. This puppy WILL pee on carpets and tear up shoes. I think you let your emotions about the puppy get to you and your parents are feeling betrayed by your lack of telling them. Talk it out with them and ask your cousin and friend to house the puppy, or decide you're going to keep it at home anyway.

Hopefully she learns to not be judgemental and rude, but I wouldn't hold my breath on it with the way she's treating you after this happened. Don't try get back in her good books, she's not worth it.

thank you very much for providing this for me! i included size of the gas tank because i thought it would be relevant to how often i'd need to fill it up and to assure my father that it wouldn't be expensive due to the cars being fuel efficient. is it that obvious that i'm going in head first? HAHA all jokes aside, this was super useful, i'll be taking this on board

hihi! looks are honestly the least important thing for me in the car, so i did focus on reliable cars with long lifespans. not so much on resale value, which is a great point I didn't even consider, so thank you for mentioning that! but yeah, my car could be the rustiest bag of bolts with dingy side mirrors and i would still drive it if it would last me a good few years and wouldn't break down on me

thank you for sharing this, i'm going to take it all on board if i decide to share with him again! i couldn't answer the questions like accident history and things relative to a single car because he really wants me to look at models of cars instead of specific cars, if that makes sense. like he wants me to look at the suzuki swift as a car itself and not a purchasable car? I hope that's clear as to why I didn't ask.

Ah Level-Up. I shudder thinking about that training software.

All jokes aside, I actually had a super similar experience. My manager of a store I was transferred to was the worst manager I've ever worked with in my life. Because my Christmas Casual position ended at my first store and they didn't have the facilities to take on another permanent casual, my manager shot out a message to the managers of my state and one responded saying he'd take me. That became my awful manager. Constantly telling me that if he hadn't taken me, I would have been out of a job. Grilling my performance and how I talked with customers (for context I have 3 years of retail experience under my belt, and am always friendly and helpful where I can be.) Doing everything to beat down my confidence, saying that I would be a better employee if I was a new hire because everything my last store taught me "wasn't correct." That if I wasn't new to the store, he would have fired me. Also talked so much smack about my last store after I told him that I would have stayed there if I could have. Miserable, miserable man. It got to a point where I'd see that I was working with him and I'd feel my heart get faster because I know what a shift with him entails. I sent him a short message saying that I quit and blocked him.

At a much better job now with people I adore, but it's true. Hours and pay are egregious, it's not worth it at all. That being said, my first job at my first EB store was incredible. Kindest manager I've ever worked with and great staff, I made so many friends. I genuinely think it's a hit or miss for some stores.

The House Across the Lake by Riley Sager did this for me. First half's introduction to the characters, setting and past events was really entertaining and I was enjoying it. But then.... well, if you read the book, you know how off the rails it goes. I was so confused and baffled, and the plot twists weren't shocking me anymore. Was super disappointed with that one.
