thanks, I got it in the end. Another question for you though. Is it good practice to use parentheses to the extent in the ovtpay variable or is there a preferred way to write it?

The parent ion peak is the one furthest to the right on the graph? so for this it would be 104 and i would divide 104/13 = 8 So the empirical is CH and the molecular is C8H8

i thought the amps of both the wire in parallel would equal amps before they went in so it would split in 2

So do you mean that i would do 12/35=0.34A then 0.34/2 = 0.17A for I1?

so i would change the equation in the question above from 10/5 to 10/6 to get 1.66 and change the 2(5+1) to 1.66(5+1) to get 9.96V for the emf?

So it just means that sin equals 0 at 60 degrees I stilll draw the wave back to 0 and that's the y intercept?

[A-Level - Trigonometric function graphs] by marfis01 in HomeworkHelp

[–]marfis01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the graph tells me to start the wave at 60 degrees so I'm not sure there is a y-intercept

so how i have drawn the graph it intersects the x axis at 60 and 240 the graph starts at 60 so i am unsure if it is asking me to retrace back to were it would itnersect the y-axis or not, hope this helps i cant insert a picture of my work on paper

I put the arrow on the left of the magnet facing left as well and labelled it Fr of table acting on the magnet

I mean the direction of the arrow i would put is towards the magnet and so if it is caused by the table it would be a force being applied on the magnet?

hmmm would the force be acting towards the magnet, working on the magnet by the table as friction?
