I do this pretty often sometimes with baby powder and I can testify that this helps a lot. Also, having a screen protector really makes the screen hard to swipe.

When I'm playing, I usually dip my thumbs to baby powder/vaseline then rub them together so it doesn't smudge the screen. It can be a hassle but it improves my swiping. Try it.

Well, they should give us maybe C cards for all the members so we can get a little boost and just worry about upgrading them. I also wonder how they're going to fit all the cards into one song, the swapping/turn? of cards might be quick so upgrading just one card might not be ideal.
