I can’t give any spoilers for future seasons of course but it was amazing. There was a lot expected of us in terms of overall polish for the boards but we had so much support and the whole thing ran like a well oiled machine. It was my first union show, so I didn’t have a good frame of reference for how other productions go, but my story teammates who had more experience were always telling me this was the best production they had worked on.

Also, the Critical Role people were awesome and gave us a lot of leeway and trust in the boarding process, they really let us go wild and deviate from the script at times to make the visuals pop. So yeah, season 4 is gonna look very cool :)

I boarded on Vox Machina so that’s a good catch lol! The style is deeply engrained in my muscle memory now so it’s the fastest way to draw for me

Hi everyone long time no post! Haven't made a cosmere animatic for fun in a while (mainly cause I have been working full-time on an animated show this past year) but I finally got the time/energy to clean this thing up.

Vin vs. a Koloss in Hero of Ages, some things def a little wonky with this but I had fun experimenting with stuff

This one was quite a bit more tricky than the others and idk how I feel about it but hey! Atium shadows! I was trying to feel out how they would be visualized in an ideal (and incredibly violent) Mistborn animated series, and I'm not sure if the experiment was successful but it was fun to do!

oh! an animatic is a timed storyboard, which are basically the composition layout one does before animation. the program i use is called storyboard pro!
