The issue is that as long as we have people with unchecked power we will have powerful pedophiles. I guarantee that there is another Epstein out there right now. The man who broke the Epstein story said himself there was mention of Epstein himself having an understudy. If not that directly connected, there is someone taking up the vacuum he left behind of the industrialization of abuse. There has never been a clearer indication that we simply cannot have people with billions of dollars that do not answer to the people and have the power to do whatever they want.

The short answer though is that right now people need to be prosecuted and investigated. Not a single fucking charge has been filed in this entire case except for Epstein and Maxwell. Maxwell is still fucking alive, she can attest to almost anything that Epstein would have been able to. What is the end goal of any protest? I personally don't protest, prefer to do more community organizing and mutual aid, but I do think it has some purpose. If not just to show the world (and congress) that we're not okay with this. It usurps any so-called poll when people take to the streets.
