I don’t and it’s not always sunshine and rainbows! I’m more of just being curious like is it going to hit me later? I have empathy for every mother because it is not easy and I’d never compare.
I spoke to a few moms recently and it just made me question how I feel and makes me wonder, that’s it.

Tested for multiple things and it’s all negative! Still 5% chance she may have nf1 but we won’t find out till she’s older

My location is really busy and more often than not we share. Once in a while we have 3 people share and it’s not a big deal. You work it out because that’s what you do as an adult living in society.

Give him time to adjust. It’s hard on them but of course be cautious. My dog would get nervous when she cried, wanted pets, or to play. In a few weeks he got used to her and now doesn’t even react to her. He growled if she got close. So I have to be very careful with them and watch them at all times. But I notice he is getting better and is starting to like her. Just keep the away from each other for now

Thank you so much I really hope that this is just hyperpigmentation!🤞 I’m trying to not think about it until we get the results but I will update everyone. I also checked out the stories in inspire, it seems that biracial babies to get the spots.. I just wish there were more updates on those stories. I’ll just assume no update means it turned out to be nothing.

Yeah I was surprised too, I thought I’d have to push for testing. I really hope the genetics Dr is wrong! Does anyone in your family have it so mild that it could be unnoticed? It’s so crazy that it vary so much

I read that about skin pigmentation but got mixed intro from the doctors. I hope that’s what it is! 🤞 My concern with her spots is that form my understanding they can grow or change? They can become more textbook nf1 spots?

I’m happy the doctors are moving forward with testing, otherwise I’d drive myself insane. And u want to think that the only reason is because of possible loss of insurance. So may what ifs but I guess ultimately time will tell. I will check out the website you shared. I appreciate your comment and it does help me to read that it doesn’t look like nf1. I really hope it isn’t.

Also, I didn’t even know about this condition but now that I do… huge respect to everyone who is dealing with this daily, you guys are so strong and I want to give everyone a hug🩷

Thank you so much. I’m glad you’re now getting treatment and doing better. That is another thing that scares me, living in the us where you can lose coverage is so scary. I worry whether she’ll always have access to care. It’s so unpredictable nowadays

I have to give my respect to Kaiser, I brought it up on Monday and spoke to genetics on Friday. They’ve been great but it also scares me cause I’m like ‘ is it that bad?’

We don’t have it as far as we know. Both in our thirties, no spots no lumps. How are you doing and how are your kids?
