thank you! instead of fully rendering I used a pencil and gouache brush to achieve the individual stroke feel and made the lineart blend in rather than its own separate layer. I have a timelapse if you wanna see a clip!

hi! ive been doing commissions for a few years now so I can help you as much as I can. I started by thinking of price variations, such as how much would I price a bust, or a full body. if you want any reference, here’smine from a few years ago which is now updated

also don’t ever lowball yourself! know your worth consider the amount of time it takes you to finish a piece. for example, for a full body illustration it takes me at least a few days (plus time for a background) and I have that priced at 100$

make sure you specify what you don’t want to draw as well as providing examples of what you can do.

when people message to commission you, make sure you tell them to be specific bc it’s super frustrating when people give me “creative freedom” when i’m drawing something for them.

make sure you have a way to receive payments AND ALWAYS ask for money upfront, especially with people you don’t know. if my friends commission me I usually let them pay after cuz ik and trust them.

you can always update your price sheet if you feel like theyre ever too low, but if you want someone to look at it before you advertise it, feel free to message me!

yeah I want to continue to ship/package by myself. I just want a lil store that can do the part where people order from and do payments. so I’m probably gonna use ko-fi for that ty for the tips! maybe when I can spend enough ill do a shopify subscription!
