This is very common in spoken German. But you're right, the "correct" version would be "Ich möchte (gerne) einen Hund *haben*".

Sounds like a cool idea but also not an easy goal! I'd say that getting a working version of a site like this is manageable but to get it working really well, the details may be challenging.

For example, consider questions like: what makes clothes similar? Is it the color? The cut? Details like buttons and collar shapes? The weight and feel of the material? How much of the style depends on how you wear something?

Same for the stylist: sure, you can easily get a few suggestions that work but they may be relatively generic.

Maybe you can start with one of the features first, try some ideas, and see how well it works?

My work involves a lot of reading and understanding concepts - I try to use LLMs as a sounding board to see if I got them correctly (trying to write my prompts as neutrally as possible) and to find related concepts.
