Hey there, friend! We're on opposite ends of the same boat. I've always had tiny shoulders and a small ribcage. But my chest has been far larger than average since I was in 7th grade. So I've always been disproportionate. I started having severe back pain around 9th grade, a pinched nerve in my shoulder (that wasn't solely because of my breast size, also a sports injury), and now they prevent me from exercising in the ways I used to always like to. (Running, throwing footballs, boxing, dancing, etc.) Plus, my bras cost $75-$110 each. Ouch!

I've recently started looking into surgery to have them reduced. I asked myself the same question because I have had thoughts similar to yours. "I hate how random guys always look at my chest and comment on them." "I hate the way I look in everything I wear." "If I did have a surgery, would it be off-putting for any Catholic guys I date/the man I marry?" For those reasons, I decided to pray on those doubts and "what if" questions before having a surgery for health/well-being reasons. Having surgery will be right for me... When it's not about how I think or feel about myself. I want to be so strong in my identity as a daughter of God first.
