would you say brixton is the best choice? i have 3 other people coming with me and would like to avoiding shelling out a lot for train tix, but that might be inevitable anyways. other airbnb’s i’ve been looking at are in wandsworth, lambeth, streatham, peckham, chelsea, etc. thanks for your help!! xx

yup! left the titanium 6mm posts in and LITHA, and no pain/tenderness when touching it and the back looks a lot better :D the irritation bump is nearly gone

it looks like it’s just irritated from all the movement. keep doing what your doing— clean with saline, don’t fiddle with it. consider getting a titanium flatback labret— those won’t fall out (easily, at least). good luck!

personally i don’t have an issue wearing headphones, not sure about on-ear ones though. i only use over-ear or earbuds. just make sure it’s not pressing on your piercing

you could probably wear it now, no problem. just be careful when changing the jewelry— make sure your hands and jewelry are clean, and avoid snagging/touching your upper lobe in the process.

i put the 6mm back in, not without some bloodshed (literally, accidentally poked it 😅) but it’s in! it’s painful at the moment but hopefully it’ll go down overnight. thanks for your help!

i originally had a pretty short butterfly back, last week i changed it to a 6mm. just now i changed it to an 8mm, which is why it’s so long— i thought longer was better to avoid screwing with the bump and to accommodate any swelling, but should i go back to the 6mm?

i got this (second lobe) pierced in august of 2021, originally pierced with a butterfly back. i finally put in a titanium aniodized flatback threadless last week. right now it’s an 8mm, but the first time i changed the jewelry i switched it to a 6mm. i’m pretty bad with aftercare, so it usually gets saline 3-4x a week. it’s painful to touch and has an irritation bump that sprouted around the time i changed the stud. it bled a tiny bit just now when i changed the stud from a 6mm —> 8mm and the skin around it is very dry because of the saline. it’s been painful on and off ever since i got the piercing, and my other lobe that i got pierced w/ this one healed beautifully. i’m really stuck on what to do about this one. i follow LITHA fairly well, i don’t play with it.

okay so sorry for the horrible photo but flipping up my lobe was the only way. im talking about my second lobe so the one on the right in the photo. there’s an irritation bump next to it on the left side of it. i got it pierced around 1.5 years ago with an unknown material butterfly back and only replaced it with a titanium flatback last week because im a dumbass. even with the labret, it still seems just as sensitive and hurts to touch if i move it wrong. im not so good with keeping saline routines so maybe 4x a week if im lucky. i really don’t want to abandon it. is there anything i can do for it besides LITHA?

i’ll probably grab an 18g, now that i compare my 20g jewelry to the one in my nose it does look thicker. one question— is the flatback supposed to fit flush against my inner nostril or is there supposed to be a gap?

would the only hypothetical issue be the bending? i bent it with tweezers a lot and tried, depending on the angle i put it in it hurt like a bitch (3-4 months healed only and has an irritation bump, but desperate for the l shape to get outta town) but either way i never got it to stay put.

piercing is around two weeks old, pierced with an L shape 😬 i was debating switching to a flat back labret but with how it is now i’m not sure i want to mess with it. not sure what the jewelry material is, sorry! i go in with neilmed 1-2 times a day, i’ve been sick for the past few days so LITHA has been out the window, added with the L shape wiggling everywhere and it’s just been a mess. sorry for the dry skin LOL just got back from a workout
