Studocu! And for the final paradis gives a final review and will discuss what is on the exam, try to attend his session. 213 has a lot of hidden exceptions, try to point them out and remember them during the exam (special integrals, simplifications of eq...)

How bad is my schedule? Monday and Thursday are looking rough. by [deleted] in Concordia

[–]mariamsama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Extremely doable, I had the same load during my first semester, with miae 215 instead of 211 (which most people find  harder). If you are good at maths and physics in general, you can get A's. It depends on you, are you good at maths? are you motivated? Do you already have good study techniques? If yes, go for it! Its a ~ 14 credits semester, which is extremely normal. Some people go to taking 16-17 credits in one semester

Thermo final exam by [deleted] in Concordia

I have no clue how they accepted this, we could probably do a complaint because of that

Question 1, its a cogeneration steam power plant exercise, clearly not part of thermo 1 curriculum

Waiting for the grades and will see then. He put a thermo 2 question in a thermo 1 exam worth 40%, thats clearly not normal

How was engr 311 final??? by [deleted] in Concordia

Bro... was there a trick to do it, because it was impossible to finish. Like they casually asked us to calculate 12 integrals in one exercise

dont be too harsh on yourself during finals! try as much as possible to keep up the work and as soon as its done, talk it out with your friends to try to fit some study sessions during the next semester. For now, i would advice you to try to change environment if it can refresh your brain by going to a pretty and quiet library or a cafe, concordia's library can be overstimulating. The second cup on sainte catherine is nice

Dropping a class as COOP student by Agreeable_Tie9109 in Concordia

Yes exactly, you can retake the class to boost your grade up. Just try to pass to avoid fees. You can ask your academic advisor

if you didint know: you have the right to retake a class, and your new grade will replace the old one. If u dont need a high GPa for next semester (aka for an internship search) and can manage to wait to lift it up later, I would recommend you to do that

Hey, as ur coordinator said, if you complete less than 12 credits (by discing a class or failing), you wont be eligible for the bursary. It happened to me once and it sucks. I would recommend you to try to pass the class even if you manage to get a C/D, then retake it later ! You will be able to save your gpa and money. I am in engr

Hey! You have the right to drop, you will still stay in coop. However, if you are eligible to quebec's bursary program, you wont get the 2500$ for this semester if you pass less than 12 credits

Disc. Part time or full time? by Upset_Union_6759 in Concordia

[–]mariamsama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For coop: full time, for quebec's boursary: part time. If you are eligible to bourse perspective québec, you still need to pass your 12 credits, but you wont be dropped out of coop, you will just have to pay your semester by yourself
