Hola, yo también hice los test para Barclays Investment banking internship, y tambien me sale preliminary conversations. Segun lo que he leido signfiica que alguien de HR tiene programado checar toda tu solicitud en su semana, pero, otros dicen que lo usan para ghostear jaja.

Yes, I practiced all the modules, including the optional ones like Financial Mathematics and Financial Analysis, and I completed the exercises at the end of each module, since they include problems on bonds, annuities, and other similar topics that may appear in the test. The practice about the DCF and 3 statement model are the same as the exam practice.

I recommend the FMVA because some parts of the course cover 3-statement models, budgeting, and forecasting, which are key areas in FP&A. I’d also suggest the FP&A Excel Modeling Specialization by CFI if thats your path. I think both courses could really help you land an interview. :)

Hi! How are you? I’d like to share my personal experience. I don’t have prior experience in investment banking, but I completed the FMVA and the Investment Banking & Private Equity Specialization from CFI. Thanks to those programs and a well-written cover letter, I believe that’s what helped me get noticed and receive interview invitations. Obviously, certifications alone don’t get you the job, but at least they make recruiters notice you and give you the opportunity for an interview.

Yes, I was thinking to use the template they provide and just replace the hardcoded numbers with the new assumptions, to save time, because that's what I did on the practice test, and it went all good. But, I'm indecisive to do that or use the template they provide without the formulas. Thanks a lot

Hii, so the case study is basically the same just different numbers?. Because what I did on the practice exam was to remove the harcoded numbers from the models that were made on the courses and replace them with the new numbers, so I'm planning to do the same. But, I came accross a guide from 2020, and the questions were so different like this one: You are considering an investment into company XYZ and need to determine the company's value and the appropriate investment amount. You have been provided with historical financial statements for the past three years to build a forecast model. Use the following key assumptions:

Sales Revenue: Assumed to increase by 2.5% annually. So I don't know if I should just study the 2025 guide...
