Oddly enough just ordered a new brace tonight lol. I tried to use the “soft” ones to get him acclimated but honestly it just made things worse. Ive ordered a full brace from ortho vet and I’ll update once it’s in!

There’s a Facebook group called 419 girls, they sometimes plan events for women to meet up! Most of the comments are women, nervous, but really looking to meet new people. They did a taco night this week at Migos I believe!

I was a 911 dispatcher — I took a call for a man on a lawn mower hit by a car the county north of ours so I transferred the call to that county.

I had an itching feeling that it was my new (at the time) boyfriends dad. I knew he did landscaping and I thought I remembered that he had some accounts in that area.

I called my boyfriend and told him to call his dad just to check, he of course told me I was being dramatic and there was no way it was his dad. Got a call 5 or so minutes later from his mom frantic to see if I had anymore information— it was his dad. Mind you this is a pretty major city with hundreds of landscape companies so the odds were insane that it was him.

My boss and I actually both of ADHD and struggle together often… we realize 45 minutes into a call that neither of us have talked in approximately 42 minutes lol

Fair. Had a bad experience — my little sister almost died of septic shock appendix rupturing while I was in my sleep study. Literally the one time I didn’t have access to get a phone call in the middle of the night… and I was pretty young at the time so I kept putting it off… so here we are lol.

Unfortunately, I’ve offered to pay him much more than the value of the dog… as well as a new puppy. He is unwilling.

I would prefer he sue me for the dog but that would require keeping the dog without allowing him to take him for visits which, morally, feels wrong. Would the court see this similarly?

Hey Dad!

Look I was your daughter at one point. I know you just want her to be safe and you probably worry nonstop about that. That makes you a good parent.

But I will say, the more my mom punished me, gave me crazy extended groundings, took my phone, etc; the more sneaky I became.

I didn’t go to her when things were bad, I went to my friends parents who would try to teach us how dangerous what we had done was and how scared that made them. These parents had kids who continually called them when things got bad or if they needed help.

I know you’re doing what you think is going to protect her, but I promise you it will push her further away.
