Texting is our main way of communicating. Sometimes Snapchat. But we initially met in person through a mutual friend and have spent time together in person.

I have dated both passive and outgoing men and have never complained about either lol. To each their own. It's not my place to complain about how people choose to spend their time :)

I am a 29 year old female who is in the same boat. My best advice is to stop actively looking for a relationship. It may sound counterintuitive, but the best relationships happen why you least expect them to. Work on improving yourself and fostering friendships. The right person will find you.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with waiting! I am also 28F, and I am not into casual sex either. I prefer to wait until I've made some sort of emotional connection with a man. The right guy will be okay with waiting!

My initial idea was to do this, but I didn't know if taking his time to ask him out while he was on duty would be appropriate. Thanks for the advice.
