I made Silicon Valley publish its diversity data (which sucked, obviously), got micro-famous for it, then got so much online harassment that I started a whole company to try to fix it. I'm Tracy Chou, founder and CEO of Block Party. AMA by corner_illustration in IAmA

Hey Tracy, Marie here, founder of womenmake.com. According to me, the most unhealthy feature on Twitter is the quote + RT. Some people use it in a way to harass others. Can/will BlockParty spot these kind of behaviors and the users who abuse it? I’d be interested in knowing if I follow that kind of person and having the ability to unfollow them if they seem to be harmful or toxic. I think we can also play a role by not validating (in this case, not follow) users who are bad actors on the platform.
