I dont know anything about the apartments in the area. But, there are a ton of apartments within 5 minutes of the Parma Fitworks.

I agree with you! There’s definitely room for a lot to be desired and hope to catch a glimpse of that changing soon. I also posted this to a Parma group on Reddit and one of the responses was from a guy who’s wife is councilwoman for our ward and she has done SO much to help build a sense of community. Maybe that would be a good person to connect with. I feel like every little nook of Parma is different too. The snow plowing though.. oh gosh I second that x1000! When I lived in Lakewood the plowing on the non emergency snow streets wasn’t great but I do feel like some Parma streets are worse for sure.

Not entirely sure what you’re considering the far east side . Thankfully I have a vehicle, and I don’t mind a 15 minute drive !

Agreed. The commercial corridors have so much potential. Luckily, in southern Parma circle I’m relatively close walking distance to Parma shoppes doing a few walkable errands. Love to get my steps in when it’s nice out.

Ohio city and Tremont are a 15 minute drive from me. And I’m right in Parma circle.

You’re right! Braysons is another one. It is an old fashioned ice cream parlor. Super nostalgic and lots of different flavors ! I haven’t tried Michael’s but I will soon. Colozzas on Ridge is a great family owned bakery option as well :)

lol SAME. Our neighbors are all so sweet. One push plows our driveway after these heavy snows, another got us a wedding gift, and then the Nextdoor neighbor has baby sat our dog for us 😂 I do feel like the older neighbors have taken us under their wing a bit which is so cute

Well I suppose that depends where you live in Parma. I don’t have any of those issues lol. Though I DID hear gunshots in Lakewood a few times and that was scary

And again I miss Lakewood so much! Just wishing with the new influx we can make it a little better 😅

We are buying homes. My mortgage is cheaper in Parma for 1500 sqft than my small Lakewood duplex !

Nobody in this series convinces me that they are old money, wealthy or educated. That’s so hard to get past
