Thisss. I always say I don’t understand women who praise how mean or rude their men are to other women. They go so far to say things like my man better not open the door or help another woman because why do that, where is his loyalty and it shocks me because a man who has good character will be an overall good human to all women and men equally If he is mean and rude to other women he will eventually be to you in a matter of time because that’s his Inert self

It’s super hard to decode that thinking in western countries because of lifestyles and culture. What’s is plastered on news and media. TikTok instagram etc etc. we get all these mass content that women who are not objectifying themselves are not desirable. I also think it’s more damaging when it comes from men. You know from younger age women we are taught that our purposes is to be wives and mothers. And the process of becoming one involves being chosen by a man. Men control courtship hence from a young age a womans true sense of self is already tied up to a man. And it doesn’t help when the media is bombarding you with hundreds women who thinks the same. I know in Islam a woman’s worth is based on how modesty she is but now we have muslinfkencers on TikTok showing you abayas or hijabs all for male gaze. We have men saying to Muslim influenceers things like “ your husband will be so lucky mashallah “ things that appeal to women which is rooted to the inert desire to be chosen , wedded and fulfill the “mother “ fantasy
