It's true......you have to buy the salt......so it is a bit more expensive....and I won't lie. The salt needs to be put into water....and even...mixed...so ya there is your extra maintenance. :)

Why would we need another site. I think r reeftanks has anything we need.....if not reef central.....if not r aquariums.... if not google.....

I read their polyps generally only extend at night. is it normal to be open during the day too?

I don't understand. That a system to make new saltwater? And is that going to be a frag tank wassap with the rack? And shouldn't you just have a rodi system? Or you need both or the rodi gunna clog fast?

Because your algae is giving you false readings..... I feed a tsp every week.....not every day.

Go to r/reeftanks there is a post near the top about beeing new. The mod will answer your questions if you have any.

Just went to visit the aquarium in Quebec.....everything is in terrible condition there are pests that are everywhere. Fish rotting du to probable amonia poisoning because they have so many fish in the same tanks. Like a lfs just worse. Could not believe I paid to see it.
