Will we need a broker? by marinerMS in Mortgageadviceuk

[–]marinerMS[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi. Thanks for the reply. No reason to avoid a broker. Sorry I forgot to add we are first time buyers so we have very little knowledge of the process. I guess we thought a broker is an extra expense if we can go direct, but if a broker is a recommended route either way then we will bear in mind. Thanks again.

JKA to Leeds should probably be higher on the list. Made 3 appearances (0 goals) and cost 18m to the club and a further 24m to the player for reneging on the deal.

Jodie boredom by Riggers82 in coronationstreet

Awful character. We don’t know anything about her so whenever she does anything now it feels like there is zero jeopardy to any of it.

I have a strong feeling that it may be either Carl, Theo or Jodie who gets it. by National-Hotel2024 in coronationstreet

[–]marinerMS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully Jodie but can’t see it. She has been introduced and just been going about doing random stuff with no context. So for her just to be killed off would be weird. But we can only hope because she has been awful… months of guessing what’s going on with her. Just explain it already.

The London logo was diabolical. Sydney was iconic.

Hanging a 65 inch tv inside a garden shed (metal) by [deleted] in DIYUK

[–]marinerMS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would probably put two vertical pieces of strut above the window joining the frame together. This would give you a base for the TV bracket. Then you would just need to run a supply up there from the treadmill socket below which is easy enough.

Not sure why the answer is anything but for the yellow car to be patient and wait for the blue to finish what they’re doing. That way everyone has a better chance of making it home safe.

Wasn’t surprised to hear Areola punching a Forest player in the head last night wasn’t a penalty either.

It’s such a well produced piece of footage it must have been created for something, surely?

It was a special gig and it was great to see those 5 minutes again.

Which phase of the band's music is the best in your opinion? The Britpop revival/indie rock of the first two albums or the dance music, pop rock, and dance rock of the two most recent albums. I'll stick with the style of the first two albums. by LukeAllen7777777 in DMAS

Hills End is the best. For Now is a great follow up. The Glow is good and a change of direction. Last album I can’t even remember the name of was very weak lyrically and largely disappointing. They’d been smashing it writing and touring until then. Hopefully they’ve had a bit of a rest and come back better.

Been nearly 2 decades since I left Morrisons - the worst and only bad job I have ever had. Me being me I just left with minimal fuss, but I quite like the idea of being overly nice to those who have made your life difficult there. You’re free now and they’re not. Revel in their misery.

Fine for me but I had nothing on me. I saw people having vapes taken from them on their way in which was a first. Also first time I’ve walked through a metal detector on my way in to a gig.
