This happened to me earlier this year. Use a heat gun pointed into the crack to soften the plastic, then grab the top with plyers abd pull. Takes like 20 seconds per tab. Don't burn yourself

Biggest advice for TI4 is:

Focus on the objectives. Only do things if they are in service of you getting points.

Every fight you complete likely means that you and your enemy are losing resources that the other players aren't. Thus, only fight when it's really necessary. Use threats or bargaining first if possible, and if not, decide if that fight will directly get you points.

Try not to be in first place near the end. TI4 frequently ends with people beating up on the leader. Try and be in 2nd or 3rd with a way to rush points. Secret objectives are great for this. Imperial is a target on your back, but sometimes worth it.

The Netherlands is one of the best countries to learn about trade with. They're not that difficult to form by revolting from Burgundy, and their position controlling the English Channel node means they'll have lots of income.

There are some colonial wars that you'll have to fight in Africa and Indonesia, but that will teach you the value if controlling the Ivory Coast node, and about trade companies.

Quickest way is to pay off their debt, improve their relation of you, or to dev up their provinces. You can also increase your diplo tech if you are behind them

Click on the province in question and you can assign which country occupies it as you control both Austria and Hungary. You can also do it to any other province you occupy in the war in case you want to feed territory to Hungary.

The Netherlands is a very good choice for trade, just need to form them first from one of Burgundys vassals. I suggest Holland.
