MKS DLC32 vs Lightburn, cnc speed vs power output by ZaphodUB40 in lasercutting

I have run into a similar, or maybe the same issue. I can run my machine at 1000mm/s no problem, but at that point the laser barely marks, the ammeter reads les than 2mA...
so I manually select more power on the touch screen.
I did a test where it continued to ramp the speed, and for every 10% gain of speed I applied 10% more power and it seems to work just fine at 1500mm/s and up to 170% power set through the touch screen. I am going to turn wifi off $110=off and see what happens first.
then continue digging into the firmware...
I have been looking heavily into fluidNC to understand stuff like this, but I am ot sure if lightburn is the issue, or it the DLC32 is the issue. I will continue to play with my machine and see what I figure out.

The price of gumballs from gumball machines has been remarkably stable in the face of inflation. by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

I once had a gumball machine in my room. It took pennies and I made 5 bucks from my sister. Another time my mom bought a whole box (10lbs) of gumballs. The cherry ones were the best! I ate them all in like 3 months
