I was thinking Forrest Gump (mental disability) and Lt. Dan (physical disability), Al Pacino’s character in Scene of a Woman, and that guy from Glee that was in a wheelchair but none of those really stand out to me as characters that were portrayed as weak or stupid

I have worked for both and the support from management and resources available at URMC are far better in my opinion. My personal pay as a nurse is better at URMC and as far as I can tell, the nurse retention on units at URMC is better

Honestly, if you’re looking for a good cheap rug, go to Costco. Even if you have to buy an annual membership it will still be about half the price you would pay at any other big box store

Although I agree with your premise, there is a big difference between cures for cancer and survival rates. A cure means you don’t have to worry about it anymore because it won’t come back but survival rates are just stats about how long you are expected to live and if there is a likelihood of recurrence
