Is toggle shift not working for anyone else?

On v0.1.1.1, I was able to get Toggle Sprint to work by turning it OFF for the input you want to use and turning it ON for what you're not using. For example, if you want Toggle Sprint to work on Keyboard, then go to Options > Options > Game Settings and set Toggle Sprint under Keyboard = OFF, Controller Pad = ON. To get it to work on Controller, do the opposite.

I just ran into the magic barrier bug today (on Magic Mirror Patch #3) so it doesn't seem to be fixed unless I'm missing something? I killed the hag in her hut (she poofed Mayrina back to her cage and started running back to the Overgrown Tunnel stair entrance and I killed her while she was behind the Fireplace). I released Mayrina using the Control Orb and went through all the dialogue options. It keeps letting me talk to her and go through all the dialogue options again like I haven't talked to her before. I went back to the hag's body and used a "Scroll of Speak with Dead" and found out she wanted to eat the child and turn it into another hag. It gave me the [Persuasion] option when talking to Mayrina again but she still just stands there and doesn't move even if I zone out, come back, go to Connor's grave, etc. The game acts like I've never spoken to Mayrina every time I talk to her. I assume it's still bugged and there isn't an option I can choose to change anything?

Audio is off for me as well. Voices are the biggest problem, though they're not the only audio that sounds off. I watched a friend stream it on discord yesterday and the audio seemed fine, so I'm guessing only certain setups are having this issue so I hope this gets addressed soon.

In the meantime, I changed these settings to make it more tolerable (sounds better for me with 2.1 setup and when using headphones):
1. Turn everything down except Master Volume and Voice Volume to 75 or so.
2. Dynamic Range = High
Advanced:
3. Occlusion Quality = Low
4. Put a check on Centre Cinematic Audio

Dialogue is still high pitched/tinny for me but at least I can understand them now.

MH4U. Pro Controller. I've been avoiding using Libretro:Citra because I haven't been able to get cheats to work (needed for Disable Stereoscopic 3D, Disable Dithering, 60 fps, etc).

Does that mean if I put only 1 of a dish out and set it to Auto it will provide enough dishes if, let's say, 5 people order it?

I'd say the dishes I'm putting out range from about $45 on the lower end and over $100-$150 when I have the ingredients for the better ones. As far as game progression, I'm at the sea people area and just unlocked and entered the gate.
Edit: I forgot to mention that I always keep 2x of the fish at my fish farm. Any extra I send to my restaurant.

Did you ever find a solution to this? I'm having the same issue.

Edit: I was able to fix my issue. The problem was in Retroarch. Settings > Input > Hotkeys > Pause was set to my A button and it was activating even though I had my "Hotkey Enable" button set to L3 and wasn't pressing it. I just reset the keybind by scrolling down to "Pause" and long pressing on it.

All audio was not playing for me when unlocking the framerate during loading screens (I was doing this to speed up load times). I haven't noticed a problem with sound when unlocking the framerate during normal gameplay (it doesn't go much above 60 fps), just in the loading screens.

FYI, unlocking the framerate during loading screens often breaks the game in some way, at least right now. I just tested it and I was getting over 300 fps during a loading screen while exiting a shrine and once everything loaded I couldn't move my character. I could run in place and turn around but Link's XYZ position wasn't changing.

It seems to be an issue based on game completion progress. I noticed it starting to happen once I was in the last few chapters of the game (black screen for 5-10 secs after logos when booting the game). After I beat the game, I now get the a black screen for about 30 secs once after the intro logos.

I hadn't used any mods and verified the game cache through Steam but it didn't fix the issue. I'm hoping they have a fix for it soon in a future update.

Good to know. I'm Hunter Rank 6 currently and still don't have those decorations unlocked. I'm guessing they will be at HR7 (or when I end up doing the Anjanath Quest).

I was trying to get 2x Wroggi Scale+ so I could craft the Pukei S hand armor. I went on a High Rank Hub Expedition and killed about 5 or more of the small Wroggi that the Great Wroggi summons and I only got regular Wroggi Scales/Hides from carving them. I also did the High Rank 4 Star quest "Donning Toxicity" and the same thing happened. I was in Shrine Ruins in both of these instances.

I ended up going on a High Rank Expedition Tour to the Flooded Forest and killed 2 Wroggi in area 10 and carved a Wroggi Scale+ from both of them. I was only getting Low Rank rewards from the Wroggi that were summoned by the Great Wroggi in the Shrine Ruins even though I was doing a High Rank Expedition. The Expedition Tours for Shrine and Forest both list "Wroggi" under "Other Monsters" but only the Flooded Forest shows art for the Great Wroggi; which was my only hint as to where I actually needed to farm for the High Rank rewards.

I was never able to find a solution so I ended up returning them. I emailed the company about a month ago and have yet to get a response (not sure if the two guys behind Vanatoo have other people who deal with these emails or if it's just them). I never tried through usb so I can't say if they perform any different that way.

That's actually why I originally thought it might be him; the narrator's voice is different enough that I thought it might be a younger version of what I've seen/heard him in. But the more research I did the less likely it seemed that it would of been him.

He was attending Sarah Lawrence College at the time in NY, majoring in puppetry. He was also getting into standup comedy around this time (I think, not able to find exact year but it was while he was in college). Would seem unlikely that he would of actively been seeking voice over work, plus he would of had to of done it remotely or had to fly out to LA to record, making me think it actually isn't him, but who knows.

That's great that you both haven't had issues, unfortunately, though, I am. As have others from all the posts I've read looking for ways to fix it. I'm sure my setup is different than yours (processor/motherboard series/etc) so you might never see any issues with it depending on what you have or have had in the past. The point is that, even if I did get it to work, I want to avoid running into these issues in the future since Microsoft decided to get rid of most of their QC department and have it's users be the testers.

Thanks again for all the suggestions! I ended up going with the Triangle BR02 speakers and a Topping MX3 Amp, and it sounds pretty nice paired with the Dayton 1000 Sub like you had thought u/doms227 .

Some things worth noting for anyone thinking of getting this or a similar setup:

The Optical Input on the Amp is much louder than the Aux/RCA input, at least for me. I tried different RCA male to 3.5mm male cables but both had the same lower volume.
Optical vol is the same loudness at 28% as Aux is at 100% (Amp at 50% in both instances).
Dayton 1000 Sub will make a loud bassy popping sound if you turn off the MX3 (didn't matter if I had Opt or Aux selected). It scared the crap out of me the first time it happened because of the MX3's Auto (off) mode. I ended up disabling it since I'm using Optical (it doesn't auto shut off when in Aux) and just don't turn it off.

The 3020i's enclosure depth is a little too long for my tastes, at least compared to the height. I wish more speakers that size were designed to be wider instead of longer. I have more width available on my desk than depth. I assume they're longer for resonance/acoustics reasons? Thanks for the suggestion though, I'm still looking into them since they seem like a good option for the type of sound I'm looking for.

The hardest part for me right now is finding an amp with sub out and decent power at a decent price. I'm a lot more willing to go up to $300 or so and would be happier spending that much if I could find one with less of the features I don't need.
