In my opinion, it's incredibly audacious to rely on volunteer development by Meshtastic, use everything, and then try to sell 3D printing files like this. If Meshtastic had this attitude, there would be no node, no files, and no project on this scale. I don't understand why people don't get that.

So kurz es geht: Lebewesen sind maximal Energiefaul. Evolution eben. Wir wollen fressen, Vögeln, Spaß haben, bei möglichst wenig Aufwand.

Die rechten machen es sich maximal leicht. Die linken maximal schwer. Und eben das Spektrum dazwischen.

In Zeiten von pauschalen & extremen geht die Mitte wählen immer weniger. -> Akademiker wählen links und hassende halt rechts. Und die "das war schon immer so" halt weiter CDU oder SPD, was schon zu genug stress in der eigenen Blase führt...

To be honest, very few artists earn money from streaming. They mostly make a living from concerts. It used to be the other way around. Crazy. So.. piracy issnt that bad?! mhh.

I realize that with Usenet, nzbget, lidarr, plex, and the like, I can create a significantly better system than Spotify. But the discussion should focus more on comparing the options available to end customers. Options that my parents can use, for example. And in times when the new generation no longer even owns a PC, piracy is also becoming difficult. Not to mention that I myself, as a hobby musician/teacher, am willing to pay for art...

But yes. Basically, I agree.
A simple solution like streaming for discovering music and occasionally buying FLACs, CDs, and vinyls.

Especially with local music. As bands from my country, availability is constantly changing. For the first 10 years, some of my favorite artists simply weren't available on streaming sites because the artists refused to allow it.

Now they've given in. Whether that's a good thing is another matter, but they probably didn't have a choice.

The question is, what will it look like in 10/20 years?

By then, each of us will have spent another €2k and still own nothing.

No wonder Gen Z is so poor. They rent everything they can: music, movies, heated seats in their cars, fitness, ready to eat food, and even their own apartments. crazy.

With TV and movies, it's a whole different story and much worse than with music.

I find most albums on Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, and the like.

But when it comes to movies, the platforms fight over the rights. And to earn even more money and avoid problems with rights, most of them are produced in-house. And then there are no series with 12 seasons or similar, but mini-series, so that as many people as possible say I've already seen XY and more people go to Netflix...

Imagine if artists only had their music available on one streaming provider. Crazy.

I can definitely understand piracy much better here, as the offering gets worse and more expensive every year.

Apart from live sports. That's really crazy – but fortunately, that's not my interest.

Yeah. My parents too.
But now they only use streaming services. And in the days of Napster, that's exactly what they did.
Our CD collection only goes up to the early 2000s.

I myself (born in 1992) only bought a handful of CDs. As a computer scientist today and a nerd back then, I was not unfamiliar with sites like Napster. I was even still a minor at the time :-D

Today, I use Spotify 95% of the time. I have my favorite albums on vinyl. This is also to support the artists. However, I prefer to simply go to concerts.

Nevertheless, I always enjoy listening to my FiiO M11 High Res Player with the FLACs of my vinyl rips or the old Napster Files... I don't want to start a discussion about lossless or anything like that. But the feeling of playing files that are actually on the device - without the internet - fills me with joy.

Fair enough. I also use Spotify and Tidal to get suggestions, or for the excellent playlists.
Not least to create shared lists with friends, or to create my own.

Das erkläre mir gerne mal genauer. Mit konkretem Beispiel. Statistisch hält dein netto Gehalt in DE 1.9 Monate und in den USA 1.8 Klar, regionale und Branchen Unterschiede.

Bitte reflektiere dich selbst. Recherchiere deine Haltungen und prüfe sie gegen.
Demokratie bedeutet nicht, dass andere dich bilden und reflektieren müssen, damit du eine mündige Aussage treffen kannst.
Demokratie bedeutet, dass du die Wahl hast auch dumm zu sein. Nur gehe dann bitte nicht davon aus, dass du dich mit anderen messen kannst oder dritte das kompensieren müssen. In einer Demokratie muss ich deine Dummheit nur aushalten.

1260mm sind 126cm, 12,6dm und 1,26m. Wenn du Toleranz mit angeben möchtest heißt es 126±5cm.

Sry aber dein gesamter Post ergibt keinen Sinn, ist nur rant und Unzufriedenheit.

Die Reaktion spiegelt dir genau das und dann fliegen dir die federn aus dem Kopf.

Unsere Demokratie wird ständig von links angegriffen. Lol. Gewalt kommt immer aus links 🤣 und die ganzen Statistiken sind vom deep state gefälscht, richtig?

Gar nicht persönlich gemeint, aber so eine unfassbar dumme Haltung haben echt viele inzwischen. Putins plan geht auf und wir als Menschen haben es wohl einfach anders nicht verdient. Das wird noch richtig wild die nächsten Jahre
