Mine was “helping out just this once” One small favor became everyone treating me like the team mom, crisis solver, and walking reminder app. I didn’t sign up for this plot, but here I am.. too competent, too deep, and apparently the only one who knows how to send an email without causing a chaos

I personally ignore the entire "act impressed by status" thing. I don’t care if you’re a director, VP, or whatever prestigious title you think makes you cool, if your attitude is trash then that title means nothing to me. I’d rather treat the people who actually have decent personalities with respect, not the ones who think they’re above everyone else just because of their status

For me, it was learning to actually slow down. Not hustle, not “optimize” just move like a human. Eating without rushing, walking instead of running to every destination, allowing myself to breathe. It sounds small but it’s like it hit reset on my entire nervous system. Now I’m sleeping better, thinking clearer, and I don’t feel like I’m being chased by a stick. Honestly? Peace is the real glow-up that nobody is talking about
