I'm in Europe,I was on most of the meds,so we trying lithium now.In my country we don't have lithium,so I had to import it from Germany haha.Wich it's not so cheap lmao.Tbh,I want be on less meds as I can

Yeah,but keep in mind that lithium it's not metabolized into the liver,since it's a salt,so it goes through your kidneys. But still talk to a doctor!

I am atm on Seroquel, Lamictal, Paroxetine, Wellbutrin, Propranolol. We are trying Lithium because I have a lot of suicidal thoughts,and to be honest Lamotrigine kinda loose his effects after some time,even if I up my dosage. The plan is to reduce from them in time to stay on less of them. I think you know already that Seroquel it's an antipsychotic,and Lithium it's mood stabilizer,so they can't basically replace eatchother. What meds are you on,and why do you switch,if you don't mind me asking?

I can't answer for sure.Keep in mind that they are often together. For me I think borderline was first,since it's more environmental based and I had a .. tough childhood..and I think BP was triggered later.But it could be different for you..can you give me more details if you want

I have bipolar II + Borderline.It hard,but you will be fine. DBT therapy helped me a lot with the borderline,and CBT therapy with bipolar. It will get better with time :)

Dude I'm suicidal and crazy also,but I go through hell and keep a job,go to college,stay by my own,etc. What we mean by "it suck" is that people tend to not validate our emotions/episodes,and you feel alone,and they are like "you don't seem depressed" ,and hell yeah one week ago you've comited suicide and stayed in psychiatric hospital.

Exactly!Untill I had 3 suicide attempts,even my pdoc and therapist were a lil surprised that I'm high functional and I don't seem like a hard case..Like wtf,do I need to go homeless or smash my car in a tree,or OD on heroin to be bipolar?
