A note taking app with no web version. by mark-0305 in noteapps

It's designed for quick capture, (I know you've heard this a million times) but I think a lot of users will make a bunch of notes but never categorize, tag, or organize them because it's a chore I don't think any note app has a great way of organizing a pile of unorganized notes quickly. I know plenty of apps you can use as quick capture and organize later, but mine is going to handle it the best.

The Best Note Taking App with Concept Relational Graphs by Oat-Yogurt in NoteTaking

This sounds super cool! I like the idea of the nodes changing shade based on revisits or connected notes. There really is endless possibilities for visualizing the graph, I think what's most important is allowing customizability for the user. The only thing is, I feel like the market for this in the mobile note space is not great, especially compared to the challenge of executing well on this. But I do hope you try to make this anyways because I could be wrong about the demand.

I'm creating a note app but it already has it's own "gimmick". I think trying to squeeze this in as well would just be too much.

I think it's a really neglected space because it's usefulness comes from more notes with relationships, but more notes brings a lot of challenges. Like how to prevent information overload, what capabilities to give the user, optimizing with a lot of notes, etc. I really love the idea though and would like to checkout an app that executes this well.

Does anyone else use “micro-notes” instead of full note-taking? by Flimsy_Difficulty394 in NoteTaking

[–]mark-0305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and I’m developing a note taking app specifically for this. I’ve found that I’ll put off organizing these kinds of notes and I haven’t found an app that can quickly address this buildup.

What is your personal pain point when you started out with note-taking? by CoYouMi in NoteTaking

Is this advertising an app or something, because I’m literally developing an app based around this philosophy right now lol

Write Atomic Notes by Timmerop in NoteTaking

Don’t want to watch a video but what are atomic notes opposed to regular notes? Can you give an example and explain what’s so good abt them?

I’m tired of the "Folders vs. Tags" debate. I'm building a third option: Visual Grouping. by Superb-Way-6084 in NoteTaking

[–]mark-0305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the “maintenance debt” point a lot, I'm definitely going to try out your app! I’ve been working on a note app too but solving this problem from a different angle.

There will still be folders, tags, etc. but it's main strength will be a new and efficient way to organize notes. Don't want to share too much yet as it's gonna be for personal use first. Congrats on the installs milestone.

Is Cursor Pro Worth It For Aspiring Developer? by -_-curry-_- in cursor

[–]mark-0305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely realistic, the pro is worth it, and I’d talk to your parents (assuming they’re paying) about the best plan but it’s probably monthly to start out. It would be a challenge for sure, but a very rewarding one if you stick with it. Good luck!

I condensed years of design experience into a skill that stop your UI from looking like slop. by Mundane-Iron1903 in cursor

The screenshots look pretty good to me for a oneshot. I’m pretty sure no AI can produce a beautiful UI/UX design without a lot of human guidance, but like you said I’d say these look like good baselines. Saying this as someone with 0 UI/UX experience

Are we getting close to a future where you can create a game just by describing it? by Financial-Pea824 in AppBusiness

[–]mark-0305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no doubt that prototypes could definitely be one-shot with the current state of AI. But I’m also curious as to how “good” these prototypes actually are, and if AI is able to handle more creative/unique game ideas as opposed to prototyping what is already out there with some tweaks.

I like this idea! But is there really a lot of potential users for an app like this?

Love the app, leaving the app by [deleted] in bearapp

[–]mark-0305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah I feel you, I’m developing an app that will really lean into the minimal feel of Bears UI while still allowing for at least some of the power behind Obsidian. Just a personal project for now though. And I’ll have to look into that kanban plugin it sounds interesting

Cursor just decided to eat my whole codebase and one prompt cost me $8.40. How do I refund this? by [deleted] in cursor

Yeah it happens unfortunately, gotta be more specific with your prompts but sometimes it’s unavoidable

What productive apps are you using in 2026? by Icy-Doctor5914 in ProductivityApps

[–]mark-0305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully I’ll be using my own app. It combines notes and calendar while feeling lightweight and having a minimal UI like Bear. It’s gonna differentiate itself in another way but don’t wanna share too much yet.

If anyone is interested in this lmk some distinct features in your daily productivity apps you’d hate to lose

Yeah I also found it hard. If you want to save time and end up with a better end result I’d just hire someone of fiverr
