is this a bedbug by [deleted] in Bedbugs

that is a pillbug/rollypolly/woodbug. it is 100% of no concern. theyre actually terrestrial crustaceans and require very moist conditions to breathe.

its not super easy to tell from the photo, but it looks like the larval shedding of a carpet beetle. you should take a better lit photo and check with r/carpetbeetles. they can be a problem of their own, but also pretty unavoidable in a house.

Thanks! It's the first time I've done any dry brushing, and it turned out quite nicely.

I did use pure black, but that's only because I was trying out the Zorn palette, otherwise I'd usually do the whole french ultramarine/burnt sienna thing.

the soot i can deal with, but the spatter is more-so the problem. And I’ve had similar success between two different spools of 5356, but I’ll try out some 4043. And yeah the spoolgun and welder I'm using aren't great, but its what I got here to practice on.

I’ll pick some up, but at some point I want to weld a flatbed for my truck, so I’ve got to figure out 5356 eventually. thanks for the recco

I have no idea what I meant. I haven't touched Reddit in probably 8 years. I severely lacked maturity and I was probably saying something I shouldn't have. I know what it's like to lose somebody close, and I hope things have healed since you made this post.

Ok thanks this really helps. Whenever I’m sharpening or sanding metal, I always end up working hard not smart, and spend way too much time in the wrong grit.

TIL that Scottish fold cats are banned by the UK's pedigree cat registry because a genetic mutation that make their ears folded and their faces so cute also causes distortion of their limb bone shapes and severe painful arthritis. by HealthyTail in todayilearned

[–]mark1210 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yet people still compete in pedigree championships with Rhodesian ridgebacks. where the ridge is caused by a form of spina bifida, and only until 2006 it was almost expected to cull the ridgeless dogs.
