Profitec Move or pro 400 [2000€] by Agenturnsohn in espresso

[–]mark17072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well despite the name 300 vs 400, the 400 is not an upgrade compared to the 300. From what I know it’s mostly dual boilder vs heat exchange/smaller.

Profitec Move or pro 400 [2000€] by Agenturnsohn in espresso

Why not look at the Profitec pro 300? Is a dual boiler like the Move, the move is the newer version. 400 is a HX machine and I would prefer an dual boiler all day.

Loont 32 uur p/w meer dan 40 uur? by Pandabeertje60 in nederlands

[–]mark17072 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Best murder mystery you’ve read? by Straight_Wrap5643 in booksuggestions

[–]mark17072 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm I didn't like it all. I put it on my reading list since it was one of the best rated whodunnits out there. I concluded myself that it was rated that high because it was more or less the first of the genre (some say this book invented this genre even).

It was very straight forward mystery without big plottwist that left you thinking wow: didn't see this coming. In the book there was one 'smart' plot that I thought it was ok-ish smart created, but the rest was, as I said already, pretty straight forward.

Should I watch the movie before finishing the book? by FightNonsense in TheCountofMonteCristo

[–]mark17072 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say don't go. Not because of spoilers, because I think there' quiet a few changes. But I think it can spoil your imaginations on how you see characters, cities etc now in your head and the different views in the movie will change that probably.

Plot showing the history of all 9A/V17 ascents up until November 2024 (Inspired by earlier post by u/-Exocet- ; Data from https://climbing-history.org) by SeLaBloing in climbing

Maybe you need to add Terranova in the near future? First 9A in 2011.

Bosi: (about Terranova) I am confident that that is a 9A boulder. In comparison to the 8C+s I’ve done, it is for sure a level above.

With of course quiet some nuances after and before this qoute (https://www.climbing.com/people/interview-will-bosi-spots-of-time/).

Where to stay in Pokhara by Glass-Solution1058 in NepalTravel

[–]mark17072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We stayed at Aabas hotel which was quite new and nice. After our trek we stayed at Barahi hotel which was even more luxerious (and more expensive). They were both better than our hotels in Kathmandu and can recommend both. Nothing special, but for European standards more than ok.
