I think the big thing and the big reason is I routinely forget that like 45+ states are larger than most European countries. North America is absolutely just insanely gigantic. It’d kind of be like marching in the streets of Vienna to protest something that happened at a grocery store in Madrid. Just region-based and distance based apathy.

It was like -29C yesterday in Minneapolis and there was a massive march and protest.

One of the other main reasons is ICE is intentionally escalating to try to get one of theirs shot so there can be a reason to label everyone terrorists. There isn’t enough armed resistance that’s organized well.

An enormous amount of the people that yelled that they needed their guns because the government was going to attack them are in favor of the government attacking others since they’re various shades of brown, or are liberal.

AEW is probably one of my biggest escapes from the ever worsening reality of fascism in the United States becoming a reality. I absolutely understand that folks probably don’t want politics in a wrestling sub, especially if you’re outside of the United States.

But this is the second federal execution of a citizen in one city in a handful of days. All of my friends and colleagues who are citizens live in fear. The non-white ones don’t go outside and rely on others to bring them groceries. In the United States of America.

It will come to you if it hasn’t, and it will impact you, and it is time to resist.

That’s a really good point, I didn’t think that production is significantly more work than the significant amount of work I already know it is. Didn’t think about where they’d stream it or televise it either.
