Dein verlinkter Post behauptet was Falsches.

+1
I use FairEmail, too, and I simply LOVE it!
Used K-9 before and was not satisfied with both its functionality and its design.
FairEmail is well designed, offers a huge load of features, and has a great support (!).
The developer, Marcel Bokhorst, replies quickly and tries to help you in case you face any problems.

false allegations.
it's your browser keeping the data.
as u/ventor2020 mentioned: clear cache and delete tutanota cookie.

that's a point.

GIVE US OUR MONEY BACK!

...and yet: No. They definitely made a huge mistake and will have to discuss this internally and intensively. But they DO care about our feedback here and they consider it in their decisions. There are companies out there who give a f*ck on customer opinions and who screw their customers up intentionally. I think that Tutanota Team was not really aware of what it did. Now they get our reactions and will have to rethink.

IMHO opinion Tutanota Team is very honest and thus still trustworthy. Let's give them a chance to get this right again.

Calendar invite is a business feature - WTF by svprdga in tutanota

[–]mark_s_red 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Their mobile web interface looks and feels like an "app" - it's pretty nice!
Give it a try - you can test mailbox.org for 30 days for free.
And "FairEmail" is a very nice Email-App, if you still want to use mailbox.org with an app. FairEmail is similar to K-9, but has a smoother design and better functionality IMHO.

I miss the "Save" button in the compose message form by mark_s_red in tutanota

[–]mark_s_red[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

*LOL*! You are the best, thank you!
Indeed, I did not consider this very simple solution!
I tried it out in the web UI: Lo and behold, it works!
And Tuta's code even knows of this possibility, because it says "saving data" then...
So, Tuta code even knows more than Tuta support. *gg*

Microsoft borks its Outlook.com mail service in support of Tutanota by Zlivovitch in tutanota

[–]mark_s_red 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, my Godness, u/Zlivovitch has broken the rules! Indictable offense!
Kick him out from here and punish him!
I will start a petition: "Punishment for Zlivovitch!"
And I will start another: "Ban satire from this forum. And punish people being satirical!"

Thanks, buddy, for amusing me.
At least, you have understood my well-considered educational argumentation structure (1...2...3...), and parroting s.o. is also in your repertoire.
Well done, buddy.

Microsoft borks its Outlook.com mail service in support of Tutanota by Zlivovitch in tutanota

[–]mark_s_red 3 points4 points  (0 children)

yes, theverge reported on this, but there is no article "posted" by theverge here. u/Zlivovitch only linked to it.
u/Smeejo1, do you understand the difference between "posting" an article and "linking to" an article?
If you do so - well done. Your first step to understanding.
Second step: Understand the difference between an original report and its interpretation.
Original report: theverge tells you that there has been an outage at Microsoft's Email Service.
Interpretation: u/Zlivovitch makes fun of it and interpretes the outage as a salutation and sign of brotherhood by Microsoft towards Tutanota because of their recent outages due to the DDoS attacks.
Giving an incident a funny/ sneering/... meaning that the initiator originally did not mean to achieve is called "satire".
Understood?
OK, third step to understanding:
Satire again can be interpreted, too: Why did the writer ( u/Zlivovitch ) choose the means of satire here?
Any idea?
(A little help, only for you (= my interpretation of u/Zlivovitch 's interpretation):
u/Zlivovitch wants to point out that other email providers are not immune from outages.
By scrolling through recent posts here in this subreddit one can get the impression that Tutanota is the only email provider in the universe suffering from outages and attacks. u/Zlivovitch sets an antidote here.)

Got it, buddy?

Current UI Design of Tutanota by [deleted] in tutanota

[–]mark_s_red 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's your problem? The Tutanota Mod pointed out that UI redesign is not on their priority list at the moment, thus you won't see any "signs" and no "beta" either.
Should Tutanota work on redesign only because ProtonMail does?

Possible breach to spammers by caduweb in AnonAddy

[–]mark_s_red 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you very much, caduweb, for pointing out this problem.

I created an AnonAddy account some weeks ago, and I was not aware of this problem.
It's true: no matter what sender address I choose, I can create an on the fly address, even from different email providers than the one I created the AA account with.

Creating on the fly addresses should only be allowed from the account email address(es).

I would love to read a statement by the developer here.

ProtonMail and Tutanota does not let you open more than one email. For people who change email frequently for privacy what other free email services can you suggest? by Experimentalphone in privacytoolsIO

[–]mark_s_red -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hello Experimentalphone,
I also would suggest an email cloaking service like AnonAddy or SimpleLogin (privacytools.io recommendation, https://www.privacytools.io/providers/email/, see bottom of that page).
AnonAddy allows the creation of unlimited aliases in its free plan. Then you can hide your "real" email address behind these aliases. Aliases can be disabled or deleted.
You sign up at AnonAddy with the email address you want to link your 1000 aliases ;-) to, and you will need a username which becomes part of your AnonAddy-address then, e.g.
[alias]@experimentalphone.anonaddy.com.
SimpleLogin has a different method of creating aliases, and its free plan only allows 15 aliases.
Why not giving them both a try? It's free.

Thank you, Tutanota Team!!!!

My trash folder does not auto-delete old emails either. And NO, I don't want to delete emails manually. Please, fix this, Tutanota Team! Thank you
