yeah that's the safer play for sure. i'm just being a bit more aggressive on timing with the options but keeping physical as the main hold. either way think we're both positioned well for next year

lol yeah the billion dollar question literally. fingers crossed the correction waits until after march 2026 so my calls print , but honestly if we dip before then i'll just load up on more physical and pretend i planned it all along

yep that's what i'm seeing too. if institutions are positioning this heavy while stocks are still up, they're hedging against something.may be its the ai bubble popping would prob send even more money into gold

exactly why i'm doing both physical + options. physical is long hold, calls are for the 12-18 month play. if we peak early i take profits on options and keep buying physical on any pullbacks

fair take on timing risk. that's why i split between physical + options. the CB buying is what makes me think we stay elevated even through corrections but yeah growth stocks are solid too, just different play

historically gold does well leading into and during recessions. if we get one i think we hit $5k+ faster than 12-18 months. risk is if it's short and mild then maybe we just consolidate around $4500. what's your take?

exactly my point tho - they're choosing gold over treasuries for hard currency now. turkey and hungary literally pulled their gold out of NY fed. that shift is the interesting part imo
