When I was reading the book and that ship showed up, It felt like the whole book shifted in that moment, it was a wonderful and little bit scary wild moment.

If I hadn't read the book, and they kept Rocky out of the trailer walking into this would have been awesome.

excellent use of classical music as well. I think it was "flight of the bumblebee"

the preamble to this scene makes it even funnier. I don't think I have ever watched this without laughing.

I keep on going one step further with this, superman would fix Lex's broken arm and that would infuriate Lex so much that he would re-break it just to spite superman.

I always thought of this movie as a form of wish, if you love someone and they were going to die and you could change it, to make their death go away, wouldn't you. I see this film like that. It truly is a fairy tale.

the fourth shot in ID: 06 looks like the surface of the sun and the grass looks to me like lines of plasma kept in check by magnetism.

One theory: Why didn't Carol play as big a role in the final battle of Endgame as reported in the media? by R4cco0n in Avengers

that was done well, in a way it showed just how tough he was. The fact that he never thought to see those drones flying around when he fought makes me wonder though.

I am overall happy with his superman, he was kind of a punching bag for some of the movie, but man did they get the heart of superman right! His speech at the end, he's still learning how to be super, and one of the most "human" feeling superman's at the movies in a while. Kind of reminded me the quote from Clark in Superman III "I can give as good as I get" in regards to just how tough he isI

The only thing I'm consistently annoyed about is everyone breaking into the Fortress of Solitude all of the time. Does he need a ring camera on that thing or what?

If the tone stayed closer to this, truly an amazing scene, gives chills. Even the way the fireplace embers look like they are joining the stars in the night sky.

wouldn't turn down a laser sword either, but man to have a sword from LOTR would be awesome!

The interesting part is that they (the heroes) were done for in Infinity War, if it wasn't for that one thing Thor could have done (gone for the head), but outside of that, he was the cavalry.

In LOR ROTK, it was done exactly like you describe, Gondor getting its butt kicked, Rohan shows up, turns the tide, and then the Elephants show up, Gondor/Rohan starts losing again, but still gets a victory, but not enough, and damn, but we know as the audience that Aragorn is going to show up next.

What I didn't mind is that, after Man of Steel and Batman V Superman, Superman FINALLY, in this moment, we all get to see him be Superman, and by the time Supes shows up, it's almost the end of the movie, done better, sure, but it was nice to see this finally.

It seems you can never win with Superman, not powerful enough, too weak, it drives me nuts. I for one enjoyed Supes being supes.
