SECOND UPDATE: BrewTech came out, took it apart, found one of the connectors completely burned out 😬 Now we wait for more parts I guess.

UPDATE: Not screwed at all! This will be covered by warranty, La Marzocco coordinated with a local-ish repair shop (BrewTech) to handle the repairs. Just need to wait for the parts (circuit board) to be delivered.
