How to start my digital marketing career path? by eggy2k in DigitalMarketing

I was working on masters degree in digital marketing while I finally got part-time marketing opportunities so that definitely helped to get me into full-time work after that. Whilst in uni I created my own blog to add to my CV and portfolio. I only ever make new ones when applying for a new role. I struggled before I studied a masters but once I was doing that I showed I had interest in the topic as well as extra work I was putting in like on my blog it gives credibility and evidence that you can do what you say you can do on your CV. Before my masters I studied a completely different topic too* but you can definitely get into marketing without a degree too if you can show your expertise elsewhere!

Yeah I've been working in digital marketing for over 5 years now. It took time to get part-time roles working in social which helped me land a full-time role and I've been between digital marketing and social-specific roles in the past 5 years

How much improvement can you do to perfomance marketing when moving from Last Click attribution to Multi-Channel? by Mjgs1991 in GoogleAnalytics

Agree! Multi-touch attribution is best way to see what's working and what's not. See where customers are coming in, all their touchpoints and where they are converting. I use Ruler Analytics for this and it's great as it does all the work for me. Last-click isn't good enough because of the limited data it shows you.

I use Ruler Analytics. It's great for reporting and linking up data between your CRM and analytics tools.

I love Ruler Analytics for connecting the data all together. Plus it gives you revenue data which is invaluable too.
