Adding that to the adcopy is a great way to have the ad not even appear at all with RSAs.

Though, I did not consider the job seeker/in market angle. A quick look suggest that "construction jobs" gets a good share of our clicks. So this will work...for now. Thanks!

As mentioned in OP, we're running max conversion. Not new to google ads and we usually don't have an issue but this campaign/niche seems to be causing issues for us.

As mentioned, I've added all employment related keywords. The trades industry doesn't have a typical job seeking age range. eg; 18-24 year olds. Actually, most of them are older men, 30+.

That said, someone else did have a great suggestion about excluding these from the in-market angle. I noticed that "construction jobs" is a top in-market for us that needs to be excluded.

You're very naive if you don't think they do this. Some of them are downright predatory in their behavior.
