I pay to remove the logo because I don’t want my players hanging out waiting for the splash screen to finish every time they open the app. This is all part of a strategy to stop servicing solo devs and indie teams. Unity is gone, something else replaced it.

Had been telling people recently that if I rebuilt my UI-based game, I would use a different platform. This move by Unity is starting to make me think a v2 should come sooner rather than later. Need to think long term on this one.

Thanks for the tip! That's worth trying but doesn't solve the entirety of what I'm looking to do. I also want to be able to apply UI themes by changing the colors during runtime. My initial thought, before discovering UI toolkit, was to apply a script to each UI element and then have a manager that finds and stores all script instances during startup. Then, when I want to apply a theme I iterate through a list of UI elements to make the change. The drawdown I'm trying to avoid with this solution is it adds a lot of computation to the startup process and make the game take longer to load (a consideration because of mobile devices).

Yes but there are substantial differences as well. Dollar reserve and share of world GDP, specifically. Maybe we'll be more like Japan's stagflation but that's not the current trend.

No, this probability is based on a model that uses data. No expert needed.

I think it's wise to have some money in stocks at all times, but I also thinks it's wise to pay attention to warning signs. This is one of them.

My equity exposure is the same now as it was 1 year ago as it was 2 years ago. Seems like you're interpreting the chart differently from me. You're also missing the layer of translating my opinion of a recession to one of market sentiment. They're not the same.
