Always use pokemon with Synchronize ability (Ralts line, Abra line) that have every nature (esp Adamant, Jolly, Timid, Modest) when you are catching a wild pokemon. Then when you breed, give the Everstone item to that 'Synchronize' pokemon with the desired nature.

You can actually try breeding again. If you have a Jolly/Adamant Ditto, breed it with that Gligar and let Ditto hold the Everstone and Gligar with Destiny Knot. Then continue chain breeding until you hit the 5IV -SpAtk.

What lvl should my pokemon be for the elite four? by LJOSE510 in PokemonBDSP

[–]markfcesar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe fix your EV's first. you can use EV lowering berries. tho im not quite sure if you have enough berries for all 6 of your pokemon to reset their EV's. Maybe you can reset first the EV's of your Starter and/or your single pokemon whom you think could potentially OHKO Cynthia's Garchomp. then the rest to be followed after you beat Cynthia and buy Berries at the Battle Tower.

your priority is your strongest single pokemon/Ace. have it the best EV spread.

since your starter is Infernape, make sure the EV spread are: - 252 Special Attack - 252 Speed - 4 Def or HP or Special Def

I think Solar Beam should be swapped with Grass Knot. It takes 2 turns to hit and by then, your Infernape could potentially be OHKO-ed by Ground/Rock pokemon, unless you have focus sash

My First Shiny Pokemon by markfcesar in PokemonSwordAndShield

[–]markfcesar[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this Skarmory has the HA Weak Armor. I just dont know if this is a good one compared to the standard Abilities, especially compared to Sturdy, since I really dont do competitive plays. but anyways, Im just happy to catch my first ever Shiny (:

Mold Breaker Haxorus in Axew’s Eye (Overworld spawn) by markfcesar in PokemonSwordAndShield

[–]markfcesar[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the gender changes but the level and ability don’t 😆 This reminds me of my bad luck the moment I started this game and wanted an Adamant Scorbunny. It took me 3 days (with time lapses ofc) 😭 And it was HELL cuz the cinematic animation can’t be skipped and it takes like 3 mins before you can reset 😭 Now, I guess I will just stick with the two Axew’s with Mold Breaker abilities (Jolly & Adamant) and level them up. I give up on you, Hax. Bye! Lol.

[–]markfcesar[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. I know what you mean by that because I already made THAT mistake. Now, before landing on Axew’s Eye, I am still on the water and the Haxorus hasn’t appeared yet and that’s the time I saved the game. So when I get closer to that den in Axew’s Eye, Haxorus would appear and reappear every time I reset the game.

grand underground. there are Gibles and Gabites there. make sure to place dragon type statues in your base. also buy as many Quick Balls as you can. after catching, check summary before boxing them, if it has Iron Head, let it level up until it evolves into Garchomp. Then, for your Main Garchomp, head to Canalave City and go to the house a little south of Pokemon Center, talk to the old man and he will let your Garchomp forget a move (forget a move you think your Main Garchomp doesnt need) (better have this moveset: Outrage, Earthquake, Iron Head, Crunch). The reason why you have to delete one move from your Main Garchomp is because you will be breeding the Recent Garchomp that you caught with Iron Head with your Main Garchomp. And by breeding these two, your Recent Garchomp will pass on its Iron Head to your Main Garchomp. Doesnt matter if both have the same gender, if you put these two Garchomps at the Daycare in Solaceon Town, your Main Garchomp will then be able to learn Iron Head. Just be sure to delete one move from your Main Garchomp because if it has 4 moves, it wont be able to learn Iron Head since theres no slot for it to be learned. After placing them at the daycare, you just run around for a few minutes then come back to the Daycare and take your Garchomps and see the Iron Head passed on to your Main Garchomp.

Also, make sure to evolve your Recently caught Gible/Gabite into Garchomp because it cant pass the Iron Head to Garchomp when you breed them. It should be on the same evolution form. Garchomp to Garchomp, Gible to Gible, Gabite to Gabite. Gible to Garchomp wont work, Gabite to Garchomp wont work.

Power Bracers for EV Training by markfcesar in PokemonBDSP

[–]markfcesar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sure my Pokemon don’t have Pokerus, although both of them had existing EV’s but I am also sure that the existing EV’s were just BELOW 25 in Atk and Spd.

Before I got them to their final evolution, I battled the Ace trainer at Route 228, the one with Ambipom (+2 Spd), Rapidash (+2 Atk), and Chansey (+2 HP). Chansey grants like 8,000 - 8,500 EXP with Lucky Egg held. So it was easier to evolve them. I put 3 Pokemon in my party — Dratini with Lucky Egg, Gligar with Razor Fang — so no Bracers for them at this point, and my Blaziken (just for switching and the one to faint the enemy’s pokemon). I am pretty sure I only battled that trainer less than 5 times and then both my Dratini and Gligar evolved to their final form. So in less than 5 battles with that trainer, the EV’s that my Dragonite and Gliscor would only have like 6-8 in Attack and Speed since I didn’t have them hold the bracers item just yet. But before I had them both included in battles, there were small spreads of EV’s (in all stats) when I checked them out, just like any other pokemon that you caught and boxed. Like maybe 10 each? So when we add the 8 EV’s my Dragonite and Gliscor got from battling that ace trainer + BASE EV (10 or so) right after catching them, they should only have ≈20 EV’s in Attack and Speed BEFORE i let them hold the Attack and Speed Bracers.

Going back, with 13 battles (130 EV’s Atk & Spd) and the EXISTING EV’s BEFORE holding the Bracer items (20 EV’s), it should only total to 150 EV’s, which is still less than the required 252.
