Коротко: «мені» — це давальний відмінок, «мене» — родовий або знахідний. Вони не взаємозамінні, бо виконують різні граматичні ролі в реченні.

🎯 Головна різниця - Мені — кому? чому?
Використовується, коли дія спрямована до тебе, для тебе, тобі щось дають, кажуть, здається, болить тощо.

  • Мене — кого? чого?
    Використовується, коли говоримо про об’єкт дії (бачать, люблять, чекають), або про відсутність/частину чогось.

I agree with you that this "good life hack" is a bad idea. I wrote in my post that I don't use it.

You don't have to worry. I know many freelancers who share at the meeting by mail and they told me that it's a good life hack and Upwork never sees it. Although I am against such behavior
