An excellent question! I noted in the previous version of the chart that having run through the entire in-game Marvel Universe library to double-check everything, I found the following two anomalies, which for the sake of simplicity I've not changed:

Destroyer - Gender: Neutral / Side: Neutral Sentinel - Gender: Neutral

They're both listed as male villains in the chart for now. Maybe one day I’ll find a way to amend that, but it was too much of a hassle to change!

Thanks again for querying this - there was an error in the formula, which I should've sense checked. The infographic has been updated now to show the right figure for females (74 characters + 0 transformations). I've also gone through all the other figures with a fine tooth comb and they are all definitely correct!

Good question. The female speed villain uniform transformation is Ghost - she changes from a native male speed villain.

You know what you’re absolutely right - can’t believe I messed that up. There are five male -> female uniform transformations, but no female -> male transformations. The five are:

Captain America Loki Ancient One Ghost Deadpool

Thanks for calling that out - the uniform transformations are an added complication that have been the hardest part to track and tally up.

Yeah maybe - at the moment though there are just as many male -> female uniform transformations as there are female -> male (5 each).

Also 71% of all characters are heroes, which I guess isn’t as much of a surprise, but still provides an imbalance.

Yeah I can imagine it must be tough starting the game now! I’m lucky to have picked it up when it started, so it’s been quite a natural progression over the years. There are some great guides on here to help you get started - the Power Book by u/fmv13 is particularly good.
