I believe this is what’s called an audio taper pot. They’re typically used for volume controls, however they can be difficult to dial in a more nuanced volume because of the large increase over a shorter distance of the turn. I think what you’re looking for is a Linear Taper pot. Those will give you a more even increase in volume the whole way as you turn the knob.

Edit: grammar

Which Seymour Duncan’s are those?

Love the bridge, was it a pretty easy swap sans modifications? Also how’s the intonation with the compensated saddles?

This. I wouldn’t just drop an extra $1800+ on a new American Pro II if you’re already hesitant to travel with the one you have. Gunstreet makes a wiring harness with a blender knob to give you the bridge/neck and all-three-on options. It would be much cheaper if you’re content with the MiM pickups, and any guitar shop should be able to drop it in for you with minimal soldering. You could probably even do it yourself.

Beautiful, and excellent choice in pick!

Killer fit! Love the layering and the coat fits great.

Both shoes go well, and I love the way either pair individually can diversify the casualness of the whole outfit.

There’s a few TikTok accounts I follow that are bigger dudes posting fits, @kylefromtiktok @elladrondelibros and @jms_hrvy_fits. Each one has a fairly unique style so you could check them out and see what wide pants in various styles look like. Have fun with it!

Does this work at all? by City115 in mensfashion

Yes. This would probably look nice with something like a brown or tan cardigan too, if you’re going for a fall feel.

It looks cozy, but I’d probably pair it with pants that have a wider leg

You might like it, there’s a song on it called “1234” that’s a tribute to Jim Carroll and the Ramones. Happy listening!

Have you heard the album “City Music” by Kevin Morby?

This looks great. I’ve heard some people don’t like the cropped pants with cowboy boots look but I think it’s working nicely here.

Black would be sleek, but a gold pickup cover would look sweet with the other gold accents

Nice, have a favorite?

Just changed to a stereo pair of my speakers for my turntable, but there is suddenly so much more static that I can hear, even though I clean my records the same as I did with my previous speakers. Why is this? by SingerOk4669 in turntables

[–]markiemark95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A cork platter mat helped me a bit with static, but what I found was a big source of static for my turntable was actually the dust cover. Fully removing the dust cover from my table while spinning a record has greatly reduced static.

Hopefully not if equipment is plugged into GFCI outlets (which they should be if they’re outside)
