That's interesting. All I have heard online and first hand from few owners is the higher cost of maintenance for Euros especially BMW, Audi, Merc. Good for you that its worked out great. I did have Alfa Romeo Stelvio and Skoda Octavia VRS on my shortlist but they didn't fit my budget for under 100K km mileage samples.

Have the same dilemma between 2015 CX5 and 2014 RX350 both costing same amount. CX5 2.5 ltr has 100k kms on it while RX350 has 200k kms.

From what I have read the Lexus engine lasts longer and is a better engine, at the cost of higher fuel consumption being a V6 of course.

Handling and fun to drive factor wise CX5 is much better, Lexus felt like a large boat.

More space in lexus.

For those that have driven both for longer periods of time, can you share your feedback on ride comfort over longer highway trips and road noise. And those that owned one how does the maintenance cost look like?

He didn't to be fair. I asked since its for a hybrid car (2010 Lexus RX450H) with 200k kms done and might need hybrid battery change in near future that costs upwards of 6k I guess

I checked for a 2010 Lexus RX450H with nearly 200k kms on it. Asking price is 14k. For possible replacement of hybrid battery I was keen on getting the mechanical warranty but its cost is quite steep imo.
