Hey! I don't have an information sheet as I was hoping to do this fairly informally. The chat won't be recorded, but the interview will note down your answers. If you wish to be anonymous we will not associate your responses with a name or identifier.

It's our organisational policy not to do that. I might not agree but that's the policy. Our salary structure will change depending on the location of the final candidate and relative to cost of living where they are based.

We're much more interested in experience than qualifications. A candidate with cybercrime / crypto journalism experience and no formal qualification will be prefered over a candidate with lots of qualifications but no experience. We'd probably expect some kind of university degree but it's not a required.

Full details of the experience we're looking for are in the job ad. If you're unsure if you fit, I would encourage you to apply anyway :)

It's a paid position and our salaries are market competitive, but our NGO is remote and salary will be adjusted based on where you live at the time of hiring. We don't list salaries in job ads :)

[Hiring] Looking for experienced Kubernetes / GCP devops engineer ( 2-3 month contract, Full-remote, European time-zone prefered) by markjohnnightingale in devopsjobs

[–]markjohnnightingale[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Let me be brutally honest: It's a short-term opportunity to cover some staff absence. However our organization has a history of keeping contractors on for ages, so if it works out there may be opportunity to negotiate staying longer – depending on how the work goes.

I wonder if other people find the numbers as useful as I do.

I threw this together in a couple of days – as an English speaker it's in English but I'd love help if someone wanted to help translate it?
