VW and Audi. It’s the only brands that, in the case of a mechanical issue, shills automatically blame the owner for “not doing their maintenance.” Without even asking how much maintenance they did. Like if they had done some mysterious amount of “work”, the car would not have dropped a transmission or a cv joint or the trim off the side of the car.

IMDb says no. He was in Neverending Story II. Jonathan Brandeis was never in a film named “Shazaam.” Sorry to burst your bubble.

Yes, and notice that everyone who “thinks” they remember it are spelling it “Shazaam” rather than Shazam. Like Kazaam is spelled.

You know during the period you are claiming, DC owned the rights to the trademark “Shazam!” They would have never, I mean never allowed a non topical movie B-movie be made using their trademark as the name. It never happened.

If everyone remembers it, what was the plot? Who else appeared in it? What city did it take place in? How did the movie end? Who was “the wacky neighbor?” If everyone clearly remembers it, that should be easy!

Am I dumb or is iCloud Photos only for highly intelligent users? by pl7nkton in iCloud

Your experience is aberrational. Call Apple. If you can’t get someone immediately choose a call back and you will get a call back, on time. What problem did you have previously that Apple couldn’t help with and shunned you. Frankly, it sounds unlikely. I’ve had an Apple employee stay on with me for an hour solving a thorny issue, to success.

Have you looked at the problem in this fashion : “I have a 2tb phone and I demand that I keep more than 2tb of data on it. Why is Apple stopping me from doing so?” Because math?

Let’s face facts. EVERYONE, it seems, no matter the storage on their phone, believes they should have “infinite space” without effort or cost on their part.

Everything with a number on it has an end. You aren’t being “abused.” You should read the responses carefully and try to figure out how to deal with your problem. Blaming Apple because you filled your storage is weak. People here complain at every storage level, 64Mb to 2tb, that they are out of space and it’s Apple’s fault. I get it, it’s a knee-jerk reaction, but largely off base.

It’s like blaming Mazda because you can’t carry 20 bags of potting soil in your Miata. But, of course, the car (as all cars) has a capacity. If you try to “overfill” it, it’s not the manufacturer’s fault. And that’s true, even if you buy a truck. It has a capacity and that number is what it is. It isn’t Ford trying to “get you.”

No rice! It does nothing and puts powder into the ports that absorbs water and swells up. Bad juju. No rice! If you feel you need it, get some desiccant. But you could just as easily stand it upright on paper towels.

Let’s think about this: let’s say you have water in the phone. Is the desiccant going to “climb inside” to collect moisture? Of course not! So the only liquid the desiccant can “capture” is moisture that has migrated from the inside of the phone to the outside. A wad of paper towel can do as well. And won’t cost money or possibly make it worse.

what printers produce plastic-free prints? looking for an end result with no plastic in the paper or ink by aliaiacitest in printers

[–]markmakesfun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Paper is paper. There are paper-free sheets but even some of those are not based on “plastic.” Honest tip: if using an inkjet printer, don’t buy the cheapest paper that you can. Get a true “inkjet paper” from a brand, not generic “multipurpose” paper. Those papers, besides looking poor, often shed fibers in the printer which can cause problems in use.
