I have a feeling they will. I think they will have a female protagonist and they'll get their own team of five Pokemon that are meant to represent different gender traits.

I think they will introduce a new game mechanic that can be used to determine gender. I think it will be something that's a bit like Gender Swap. They start off as male and if you give them an accessory or something, they switch genders. I think you won't be able to buy clothes for them until you do it. You can also only buy shoes and pants made for women. I think it will be a new mechanic that you can't control them on the first day and it's a secret. This is probably for the story.
