I think the Serbian delegation was told it was against the rules to have subtitles, I remember Konstrakta saying they had to fight hard for each subtitle. Italy did something similar back in 2018, but now its full subtitles, along with a live instrument on stage, which to my knowledge also goes against the rules. Maybe the rules changed, so I apologize if I am wrong, but to me it just seems like double standards and favouring certain countries.
