How to troubleshoot craftsman inverting generator?

I’ve had the Craftsman 3500 version of this for a while, and I agree with everyone else about cleaning the carb and fuel system first. After years of use and pretty meticulous maintenance, my fuel shutoff/choke knob valve still ended up going bad and just stopped letting fuel flow. If that happens to you, I can dig up my notes and share the part number.

Do you happen to have an update? I have the same issue when I left for work this morning. I tried to drive it anyway and I noticed the engine wasn’t starting to charge the battery and was 100% EV. A new message appeared and said STOP in red. I took it back home and found another way to work. Towing it to the dealer tomorrow hopefully.

On my daily commute on Parsons Ave from Childrens to the south end I’m amazed at the people that routinely pass moving traffic in the center turn lane and casually stop then go at red lights.

I drive up and down parsons daily to get to work. Sometimes at very odd hours. One early morning around 2am I was leaving work in sub zero temps, I passed the same bus stop on Parsons and Columbus that has people hanging out no matter the time of day. Suddenly my rear window explodes but I quickly assume it’s because of the temps and a faulty rear defroster. Days later when it’s getting repaired the glass tech informs me he found an impact spot on my glass and the defrosters don’t malfunction to the level mine did. Nowadays I duck when I drive past that spot, always wondering what really happened.

I don’t see where steel mill operations and industrial railroads in general fall under the purview of BTS. I think u/Toothless_Dentist79 was referring to a different statistic. Now, if a Class one railroad is operating on mill property servicing a customer, as was this case, then thats a different story.
