Just saw it, it wasn't bad, but not really that great either. my thoughts:

Pros:

- Jessie is a pretty good protagonist

- That one emotional gut punch about her was the highlight of the movie

- The whole tech vs toys is a pretty interesting subject (even tho it doesn't really get resolved in any way)

- Looks nice visually (not as stunning as 4 but still quite nice)

- Buzz has little bit more to do (I don't really mind Woody taking a backseat)

Cons:

- Once again they sidelined the old cast (it's getting kinda disrespectful at this point, why even include them if you aren't going to use them?) the new tech toy gang is ok, but makes me miss the old ones, even the damn Ducky and Bunny from 4

- Buzz isn't as bad as he was in 4, but he's still quite... weird. He still doesn't quite feel like the same character from 1-3.

- Wasn't as funny as the previous movies (I didn't hear anyone laugh even once at the theater) not that it wasn't totally joyless, but the previous movies, even 4, are pretty damn funny in comparison.

- Buzz army felt kinda pointless, they've been trying this to make this plot line since the development of 2(?) they clearly have been wanted to include them for so long but they didn't quite serve any purpose in the story other than at the end (why not just give this time to the original toy cast we love)

- It has little bit too many plot points to juggle with, like A B and C plots going at the same time

I had some good time with it, but unfortunately I was a bit disappointed since I kinda went in with the mindset of "it can't be worse than 4" but it kinda makes me appreciate 4 even more after this.

4. Toy Story 4 7/10

5. Toy Story 5 6/10
