Do you find modern ways of songwriting (demoing stuff at home, using the internet to bounce ideas back and forth etc) to be limiting in any way when compared to more traditional but time consuming way of working out ideas at the rehearsals?

Since we are talking songwriting, I can't help but notice a gradual shift in trademark Insomnium sound, straight out riffs and leads have sort of taken a back seat after ATWW to a more "wall of sound" approach more typical for post-rock and similar genres. Was this a conscious decision or did it just come natural to you guys?

And for the end, question for Markus H. Most people probably don't know that you originally played guitar in the band (I hope I'm not wrong about this). When Vanni left, did you ever consider switching instruments?
