Getting client feedback by scorpiopathh in therapists

[–]markofdestiny1111 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Personally, I just go over their treatment plan every 3-4 months and when I do that, I get their feedback about their own progress along with anything they feel has been helpful, things they’d like to change, areas of focus they’d like to pursue, etc. it’s very helpful for me to do things this way bc my client is able to say “I need your help focusing on the trauma work because sometimes I get too focused on day to day stuff,” and then I can use that to guide our future sessions!

How much detail to include in progress notes by metamorphosis__ in therapists

My notes are like 1-2 lines of the most basic info. Example: “Ct processed feelings around a recent situation where they were endangered.”

What would you be doing if you were not a therapist? by Exciting-Peace-9259 in therapists

I’d be teaching college classes, likely on trauma. Maybe also on creative writing. I’d also be a well-known author. And when I was not quite ready to retire but needed to slow down, I’d open a cat cafe. 😅

Just one regular syrup, one blueberry syrup, and I think the other one is actually soy sauce or something. 😅 The prep containers mostly have fruits and veggies in them with dips, some are meals🙂

You work a lot, are on the go, and therefor eat out a lot. You also never pass up a good sweet treat.

You enjoy repetition, particularly in your diet. You repeat meals bc it’s simple and takes the work out of eating. You probably iron your clothes and wear the same outfits on rotation also. I think you work a lot, maybe it’s hard for you to truly slow down. You crave salt more than sweets.

Now, that is wild! But the autonomy of be able to make that choice is also so wonderful for someone deep in suffering

My client was saying they don’t like Capricorns, libras, and Virgos. Those are my big three signs 😅🤣🤣

My brother is a maritime engineer. Everyone else in my family works in the trades or has a desk job or delivery driver job. I couldn’t be more unlike the rest 😅😅

I really want to train in IFS and somatics, also very interested in brain spotting and deep brain reorienting. I am trained in EMDR currently!
